It would be helpful to be able to view PDF files either in the web browser or a dedicated tab/viewer.
Support instructions and feedback for individual checks
Currently, instructions and positive/negative feedback is only supported on the task level. By adding to the check level as well, more precise feedback can be provided to the user. If there is both feedback and the check results (e.g. unit test output) are not hidden, the check results should be hidden by default under an "Advanced" link or something like that.
Do not default to opening non-editable files
If there are editable files present, the first of those should be opened instead of a non-editable file, such as an image or video. This is only present when the directory sidebar is disabled.
Make it possible to cancel check runs
Right now, when a user clicks "Run Checks", they have to wait the (currently) 60 seconds until the tasks are done running. While they are provided with live updates, they still are forced to wait to re-run any checks until the run has completed. To address this, check runs should be cancellable. Results from a cancelled check run should then either be deleted or marked as cancelled. Checks that are completed after a task or tasks run should also be deleted or marked as invalid.
Dynamically increase check run timeouts
Rather than providing only 60 seconds to run all checks, the timeout should be increased dynamically based on the total number of checks. The amount of time to run a single check should remain 60 seconds.
Opening a Snippet Web Browser in a New Tab
This functionality already exists for the standard Next Tech browser, would it be possible to add this feature for the snippet’s web browser as well?
Submit Button Block
Add a submit button to the instructions panel. Eventually, we could support other buttons (run a command in terminal, more obvious links, etc)
